To pay your fare, place your U.S. coins or bills in the farebox when you board the bus. Fare boxes accept $1, $5, and $10 bills, as well as all U.S. coins.

While drivers cannot make change, if you use cash and pay more than your fare, ask the driver for a change card. Change cards are issued for amounts of $0.25 or more, are only issued and accepted on TheRide fixed-route buses, and are not redeemable for cash.

As an alternative to cash, TheRide offers passes as other payment options for fixed-route service.

TheRide offers a variety of passes, including discounted passes for K-12 students, college students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and low-income residents.  Buy a pass online now.

Tokens are offered as another payment option for fixed-route service.  TheRide sells tokens that are good for a one-way trip on any fixed-route bus.
