You’re just a click away from getting on board.
To get started, sign up for a ridematch at iShareaRide.org to receive a customized list of others that live and work near you. You can search for existing groups to join or start your own carpool. Each carpool decides whose vehicle to use, how to split the cost of gas. Even better, your employer may have a convenient, designated carpool parking spot already waiting for you. How smart is that?
Thinking of starting a carpool? Here’s how to get it in gear.
After signing up with iShareaRide.org, post notices at work and talk to friends and co-workers, because chances are someone is looking for the same opportunity. Your notice should include your pick up points, start time and stop time and your phone number or email to make it easy for someone to reach you. Your human resources department may be able to help you find a co-worker looking to share the ride too.
